iMatchQuest is a deceptively challenging variation on the classic ‘pick up matches’ game, where the loser is left with the last match.

What makes this game a challenge is that there are 4 rows of matches, and you can only pick up matches from a single row (You can take all the matches from a row if you like!) .

The game lets you decide who takes the first move: you or the iPhone. You can reset the game if you decide that you cannot win.

You’ll find this game to be a LOT more challenging than it first looks. There are thousands of combination's and with 4 rows to choose from, the game can take some interesting turns!

A few tips: There’s no simple algorithm like leaving even numbers or matching the number that the last person took. This game really does take a little practice and thought, but you can win if you keep trying.

The best advice: watch the moves that the iPhone makes.. you’ll quickly learn how it’s thinking…

This game is solved by learning patterns....if you leave the computer with any of the following patterns you will win
1??1 where ? Is 3,4,5
2. 2

If you start you will always lose

This is a very cool little game.

Enjoy it!

This game is ok except during the middle of the game multiple times it kept popping up & asking me for my location. This was annoying enough to uninstall the game. Also now that I'm irritated, WTF does this have to so with a "quest?" it's just a bunch of single matches against an opponent.

Yeah it's free but there's enough free apps out there to be picky.
